tell me what you’re made of

Solo Exhibition, 2021

Tell Me What You’re Made Of was my first solo exhibition; an inquiry into what lies beneath the surface of the self. The series explored the quiet tension between inner life and outer form, revealing how identity grows, tangles, and reshapes itself through connection, memory, and emotion.

Each painting presented the human figure in transformation roots extending, patterns dissolving, bodies merging and re-emerging. The work spoke to the organic complexity of being: how we absorb and reflect the worlds we inhabit, how intimacy leaves traces, and how boundaries between self and other blur.

Through vivid colors, repetitive patterns, and surreal anatomies, I sought to visualize the invisible structures that make us who we are not just flesh and thought, but layers of experience woven into form.

This exhibition marked the beginning of my ongoing exploration of vulnerability, transformation, and the dialogue between what is seen and what is felt.
