POROUS

an interactive experience exploring the fragile border between trust and disgust

What happens to us through our encounters with others?

Where do we draw our boundaries and

where do they become permeable?

The body is not always a fixed, closed territory. It absorbs, resists, remembers and changes through touch, intimacy, memory, relationships and the environments we inhabit.

Some boundaries protect us.

Some invite us closer.

Some shift without us noticing.

Some are crossed.

Where do we locate ourselves within this landscape?

What happens when we look beyond fixed positions like innocence and guilt, safety and threat, victim and perpetrator, and turn our attention to the spaces in between?

POROUS invites you to notice your own impulses, hesitations, attractions and resistance when a boundary draws you closer, makes you step away or allows you to step forward.

When an invitation appears from a porous body, where do you stop?
