Shaping the Unseen
Solo Exhibition @48 Stunden Neukölln
June 27–29, 2025 / Alphonse Bar, Berlin
For years, I had lived in the tension between how I felt and how I was perceived.
Outwardly, I appeared insecure and self-critical; inwardly, I was bold, unapologetic, even exhibitionist.
Shaping the Unseen explored that duality — the interplay between inner truth and external perception. Each painting captured intimate, unfiltered moments of vulnerability: me, alone, with myself (?). These images weren’t meant to be merely observed.
It was an invitation to confront the fluid nature of truth.
It was their “WTF?” moment.
Touch. Perceive. Leave your mark. Enjoy.
They were meant to be touched.
Reality, as I understood it, was subjective — always shifting, always responding to engagement. Every mark visitors left became part of the work, a reflection of how their perception shaped my truth.
Guests were invited to interact, using multicolored glitter to physically alter the paintings. What began as exposure became a shared act of transformation — a conversation between touch and vulnerability.
