ONE, TWO, THREE…PUFF!
l dont really understand why you say that l am not enough
l learned how to breath, eat and talk
l learned how to crawl, sit and walk
do you understand how much effort and dedication these took?
l dont really know why you say that l am not enough
l learned how to read and write
l learned the difference between wrong and right
do you know how much effort and dedication these took?
why do you say that l am not enough?
l learned addition, multiplication, substraction and division
l learned juxtaposition,
reciprocation, appreciation and devotion
do you know how much effort and dedication these took?
you cannot say that l am not enough
l learned how to kiss boys, girls, men and women (in this order)
l learned how to unlearn all of them and make love to a human
can you imagine how much effort and dedication these took?
don't say that l am not enough
l learned how to drive a car
l learned how to travel by train or by plane and went too far
do you know how less anxiety and how much focus these take?
Stop saying I’m not enough.
I learned how to say no to protect myself.
I learned how to say yes to prove my worth to myself.
please acknowledge how much curiousity and act of letting go these take...
Don’t you ever dare say that I’m not enough.
I learned how to trust people without being emotionally or physically abused
I learned how to walk the thin line between collaboration and being used
l guess you know how much insecurity and miscalculation of self-worth these experiences took
you know what?
you are done telling me what's enough
l am
telling you
enough is enough
you are not the one telling me that l am not enough
l am telling that myself enough
now you will turn around and leave my chain of thoughts gracefully
take your time, l am counting till three
l know that sounds rough
one, two, three and you're gone... pufff!!!
